ABOUT PHUNG LA
Expert Audiologist at Hear4life
Graduating from the University of Melbourne’s Master of Clinical Audiology program in 2009, Phung has worked in a diverse range of roles specializing in adult hearing rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Workcover and Complex Adults.
Phung also worked for many years as a Business Manager & Clinical Specialist for a leading global hearing aid manufacturer, providing training and expert support to clinicians on the latest and most advanced hearing solutions. She was later appointed as Sales Director for ANZ which saw her managing a team of specialists and providing business support to hundreds of Independent Audiology Businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
After 8 years of management roles, Phung finally decided to start up her own bespoke clinic, focused on delivering the highest level of client-centered hearing health care. She takes the time to truly understand every patient’s unique listening needs and uses gold standard audiological practice to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Phung is truly passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of people with hearing impairment, improving their self-confidence and ensuring they don’t miss out on life’s precious moments.

After many years working within large Audiology chains, I realised something important: truly exceptional hearing care requires time, attention, and genuine connection. Too often appointments felt rushed, and clinical decisions were influenced by sales pressures rather than what was best for the patient.

My vision was to create a bespoke Audiology clinic where every person is given the time, attention, and care they deserve. A place where clinical decisions are driven purely by best practice, not by time pressures or commercial outcomes. Where trust is built through integrity; and where every patient feels genuinely heard.

Since opening Hear4Life, we’ve supported thousands of people improve their hearing. While hearing aids may be part of the solution, our commitment extends beyond the fitting - offering comprehensive aftercare, support and ongoing hearing wellness.
